"Star" power
It seems to me that if you want to make a successful science fiction series you have to include the word "Star" in its title. For example, think about the most popular scifi epics:
Star Trek
Star Wars
StarGate SG1
Battle Star Galactica
Even the recently released DVD: "Alien Vs. Predator" has the word star secretly embedded into its title.
Look carefully: alien vS. predAToR
Unfortunately, the film itself does not have any stars in its cast. . .

A most observant epiphany!
Yet, do consider the alternatives:
- Invasion of the Body Snatchers
- The Day the Earth Stood Still
- The Thing (From Another Planet)
- This Island Earth
- Them!
Starless? Perhaps.
Starbright? Most surely!
Stellar? Of course!
Five-STAR movies in sci-fi history? Decidedly!
