Are There Commies on Our Street?
My recent ramblings about the mental problems surrounding the 100 Acre Wood have created quite a discussion among readers. Some agree, some disagree, and some are debating what type of medication I am on. Nevertheless, one reader told me that he is a bit concerned that kids may be unhealthily influenced by Winnie the Pooh and friends. While I disagree, I do feel that we have a major problem just down the road. Devious little communists have descended on Sesame Street. And today, at much risk to my own personal safety, I announce their leader--Elmo. Come on, we know he is a Bolshevik. First, he is in to sharing. Second, he is always checking in on everyone, finding out what they are doing. (Pretending to be an idiot, he is an insidious communist agent.) Finally, the biggest clue--he is red. Think about it, who really controls the puppet state known as Sesame Street? One day when the time is right, and our children have been thoroughly programmed by him, you'll hear him anounce the beginning of our society's demise, "Elmo thinks it's time for a bloody revolution." Don't say I didn't warn you.
