         <title>03/18/2010 - Brief Voice Messaging Outage</title>
         <description>There will be a maintenance window for the UNI Telecommunications System Voice Messaging System, Thursday, March 18th, between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

During that time there will be a reboot of the voice messaging system, resulting in an outage of approximately 10 minutes or less.

During the outage period, there will be no access to voice mail boxes nor auto attendant functions (Press 1 for A, Press 2 for B, etc.). Incoming telephone calls normally covering/rolling over to voice mail will receive ring no-answer during this time.

The maintenance window will not impact outgoing calls, and will not impact incoming calls designated for live-answer.

         <title>03/12/2010 - Brief Partial UNI Web Outage</title>
         <description>Friday morning between 6:30 and 7:00 am the following servers in the UNI Web Cluster will be rebooted for maintenance:

mysql.uni.edu
weblogs.uni.edu
drupal-lab.its-ns.uni.edu

All blogs and database backed websites, including drupal sites, will be affected.  Total downtime should be less than 10 minutes.

         <description>On Monday of spring break, March 15, from 3AM-9AM, MyUNIverse will be undergoing system maintenance.

MyUNIverse and the download site of restricted software will be affected by this outage.

WebCT, MEMFIS, ResQPortal and email will not be affected.

         <title>03/03/2010 - eLearning System Brief Outage</title>
         <description>The eLearning system will be restarted between 5:30-7:00 AM on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  This maintenance is necessary to resolve an intermittent bug with restoring section level backups, which was introduced with the hotfix installation on 1/22.

The Blackboard/WebCT learning management and electronic portfolio applications will not be available during this period. </description>

         <title>03/04/2010 - Very Brief Outage</title>
         <description>On next Thursday morning, March 4, in the 6:00am hour, the core router
interface for the MEMFIS/Collab/SIS subnet will be modified to allow
more hosts in the subnet.  An outage of less than one second is
expected.  If unexpected problems should occur, the configuration will
be reverted to the original settings.

         <title>02/08/2010 - Brief IBM Mainframe Outage at Noon</title>
         <description>Due to an unforeseen hardware problem this morning, we are running in an emergency state, and would like to reset to a normal mode of operating at 12:00 p.m (noon). for the mainframe (QWS3270) system, which include online transactions (SI12,SIF5,PS19,RS04,etc.) for the following departments: Admissions, Registration, Public Safety, Residence, Cashiering, Financial Aid, etc. Also included are web transactions such as registration, instant transcripts, and degree audits. The outage should not last more than 15 minutes. </description>

         <title>01/30/2010 - eLearning Brief Outage</title>
         <description>The files to resolve the student My Grades release issue were put into place at 6:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, however, a data refresh error prevented the changes from migrating to all of the application servers. The data refresh error was not discovered in time to initiate another system restart.

Another application server restart is being scheduled for Saturday, Jan 30,  at 6:00 a.m. and the student My Grade release issue should be resolved by 7:00 a.m.</description>
