June 25, 2007Fourth of July Building Hours
We will have a slight change in our building hours over the upcoming holiday. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 Rod Library will be open 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2007.

June 19, 2007Orange Chairs and Tables SOLD
The orange tables and chairs which were recently put up for sale by the library have all been sold. Thank you for your interest!
Coming soon . . . new chairs will be placed in the space across from the MultiService Center, former home of the orange furniture. Check them out in July!

June 15, 2007Sidewalk Reconstruction Update
As you can see from our entrance, the sidewalk reconstruction project is moving right along. It will be a very attractive space once it is completed in a few weeks.
Beginning on June 21st, access to the Library's entrance from the south, which is what we currently have, will be closed. Instead they will open a path that leads to the north. After that date, pedestrians will need to turn LEFT after exiting the Library and walk around the north side of the building.
Thank you for your continued patience! Most all of this work should be completed before the end of June.

June 12, 2007Orange Chairs and Tables for Sale
Need a chair or table for your home away from home? 
The Library is selling 17 orange comfy chairs (with cushions) and 10 orange square and round tables that are being replaced by new chairs. These are located across from the MultiService Center, on the first floor, and would be ideal for apartments, dorm rooms or patios.
If orange doesn't suit you, you may paint them your favorite color. They paint up very well. The cushions may be removed when not in use so the furniture may work well on a patio.
If you are interested in purchasing one of these chairs or tables they are for sale for $5.00 each and are sold as is. Please see Susan Basye and the staff in the Dean's Office, room 211, with your payment of good check or cash and you can take one home today!
