Labor Day Building Hours

Rod Library will be open the following hours this weekend:

August 31	Friday	7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
September 1	Saturday	12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
September 2	Sunday	12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.
September 3	Monday (Labor Day)	12:00 noon - 12:00 midnight

Winner of the Library T-Shirt Raffle

Winner of the Library T-Shirt Raffle: Setordji Abotsi - A graduate student in Industrial Technology won the Library t-shirt raffle held during the graduate student orientation session on Thursday, August 23. Congratulations Setordji and good luck with your academic career!

Change in Saturday Open Hours

The Library is changing its Saturday hours of operation. Beginning this Saturday, August 25th, the Library will be open 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We made this change in response to many student comments requesting earlier hours on Saturdays.

August exhibits at Rod Library include the following displays:

	Panther Prowler - Sponsored by: Rod Library - Main Floor Display Case located in the Library Lobby.
	Saudi Arabia History and Heritage - Sponsored by: Saudi Students Club - First Floor Display Case located across from the MultiService Center near the main staircase.
	Camp Adventure Youth Service - Sponsored by: Division of Leisure, Youth, and Human Services - Flat Display Case located in the Reference Area.

Baskets Available For Use in Library

The Rod Library has recently purchased baskets that patrons can use throughout the building to assist them in making their book selections and bringing them to the circulation desk. These baskets are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors by the main staircase. Please feel free to grab one for your use while in the library.

Network Access Through Personal Laptops

Beginning August 13th, all library patrons wishing to use their personal laptops to access the UNI network in the building must re-register their machines at ITS. Patrons will not be able to access the Internet through wireless connections or hard-wired connections until they have re-registered their machines.

To re-register your machine, go to the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) located in Room 36 of the ITTC.
