The comment about printing limitations for grad students refers to computer labs, not library public computers.
The comment will be forwarded to ITS for response.

I have one BIG problem. I am a graduate student and being a grad student requires ALOT OF READING. I cannot count the number of times I have been kicked out of a computer lab because I was supposedly printng too much. I broke the required articles down into 10-20 page chunks at a time so others could print. I have been told I was printing too much. This has also happened to many of my graduate peers. We have been notified via e-mail or otherwise that we print too much. WE CANNOT READ THESE ARTICES ONLINE BECAUSE WE HAVE TO BRING THEM TO CLASS. WE NEED TO PRINT THEM! It's not like I print out feminist theory for my sick jollies. I do it for class. This issue needs to be addressed and grad students should be expected to be printing more, especiallly if everything printed is academic and not personal. We have tried other routes, via notifying ITS with our professors and we still get the same response of we shouldn't print so much. Then, kindly, please tell our professors to cut down on the homework if you do not want us to print so much.
Thank you.
