4.0 GPA and Sara Evans!
Last 2 weeks in my classes have been fairly good. Before I stepped foot in any class room this year I told myself that I wanted to get a 4.0 GPA this semester! I have been studying (READING) like no other, a lot MORE than I did in high school for sure! I hope that it will pay off in the end but its hard cause your 1st tests in college are usually your worst cause you don't really no what to expect.

All my bags are packed... and I'm ready to go!
I got all of my stuff packed and ready to go late last night, so all I would have to get ready this morning would be me! Wow packing was kind of an eye opener for me cause you can use a lot of little stuff over the course of the day that you really don't notice. Okay so I packed the usual towels and clothes but the really little stuff like paper-towels, can opener, pizza cutter, Band-Aids, and sewing kit (yep thats right I have a little portable sewing kit!) are just crazy!

1 day and Counting…
Well it is finally here…the complete demise of my summer…school!!!!
Yes I am excited to start a new part of my life, yes I am excited to move to a new city, and yes I am excited to start college but at the cost of ending summer????? I just don’t know if I want to give up my sleeping in mornings or all my time for R&R and replace it with class time and homework. Well...oh well right cause there is no changing it now! = )

YEE-HAW!!
WOW…just got back from the Iowa State Fair one of the biggest fairs in the country (maybe even the world??? Who knows?) and was it ever cool. It was such a fun little trip out west to Des Moines (about a 3 hour trip from my hometown), my friend gave me concert tickets to go and see Gary Allen and Eric Church (a good show I might add, Eric Church is brilliant).

So does this mean I am an official college student?
Well here I am writing my first blog for the University of Northern Iowa… my new school. AHHHH how exciting! To think that only a few short months ago I was staring off into space in one of my high school classes wondering what it would be like to start college. And now here I am just a few short weeks away from moving in and my first day of class. I just can’t wait. I suppose I should let y’all know a little about me first before I get to excited.
