Mindless Ramblings of That One Guy

so, I've decided that high school teachers don't kid around. When they say college has a lot more reading than high school, THEY MEAN IT! Holy cow. The hardest thing about college so far is finding time to read. I'm currently reading... 3 books I think? The Da Vinci Code, my music theory book, and The Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac. I'm pretty loaded down, but I'll survive. I hope.

Working is too much. I'm working 31 hours this week, and I definitely can't do that and school at the same time. I'm definitely asking for less hours next week. After all, school is more important. However, money is too. Eh, I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.

Also, i've found that there are so many things going on the first week of school that I'm MISSING OUT ON BECAUSE I'M WORKING. Advice to all new students, don't make any previous arrangements the first week of school, go to the events becase they're awesome for meeting new people.

I love meeting new people, and college is full of it! Even striking up random conversations in the dining center like, "oh, you're waiting for the cottage cheese too?" It all adds up! And soon, you know half the campus. I've found some good friends that i've been spending a lot of time with. However, I don't want to be completely tied down, so I'm still trying to keep myself... somewhat free?

As of now, I should really be working on homework, so I think i'm gonna go to bed. However, I will definitely be talking more about... more things. Soon. When I find time.
