thursday night was fun. after pledge education class, i went to a private birthday party at coconuts for my friend ranya. and as it turned out, ranya (being an international student) knows both sundeep and claudia (the international student bloggers)! so i got to meet them at the party, which was pretty cool. unfortunately, i didn't get any pictures with them... but here's the few i have...

anyways... onto the next topic. i'm finding that LOTS of people are reading this blog now. i keep getting comments from people randomly. i think it's because they made over the uni site. even dr. mvuyekure has seen it! so i wanted to give a shout to him! but i really should finish reading langston hughes...

speaking of intro to lit, we just finished up discussing alicia keys and her poetry and songs. i have a new respect for her now. she's got an amazing voice and has seen a lot in this world. i can't believe it's already midterm!

on a more... urgent note... my group debates on thursday... i'm a little nervous... we need to practice!

16 days until pi kappa alpha initiation. we did our philanthropy project on tuesday. planted a tree in lawther field... check it out!

pretty cool, i'd say. i'm bummed cause i can't be there for our social project tomorrow night. we're making dinner for the alpha phi's. alas... my last confession.

i'm in iowa city. i'm at a conference expanding my knowledge. and i promise, i won't set foot on university of iowa campus.
