Mindless Ramblings of That One Guy

i'm still in my settling in mode right now. i'm really loving my job, my classes, and my new house. however, i'm already kind of run down, and i just wish i had a moment to breathe. this morning i woke up at 10:30 because i slept through my 9:00 alarm (another thing i need to do... invest in a new alarm clock instead of just my cell phone!). i had class at 11... which was GREAT. i am basically in love with my intro to american politics class. it's honestly the most... seemingly boring class i have, but i'm so interested in all of it i can't get enough.

after class i went to the multicultural fair in the union. it was awesome. great food from all different cultures--plus i bought a ring from a lady from mexico. sweet. there was also a capoeira performance, always a pleasure to see one of those. then i was late to my intro to mass communication and society class (oops). afterwards, i had to run errands and then had an ifc/panhel joint meeting. i'm really happy with where the greek community is heading at the current moment... especially since we got a new greek adviser! thanks, jessie!

tonight, i get to play pick and choose. and by pick and choose, i mean i have meetings at 8, 8, 8:15, and 9. haha. funny, isn't it? I'm missing one of the 8:00 meetings because it's not really anything I need to attend a meeting for, I'm just going to talk to the lady in charge and give her my input. However, I will be attending my Pi Kappa Alpha exec meeting at 8... and my NISG cabinet meeting at 8:15... although i'll probably be a bit late to that one. then it's off to the ni dems meeting at 9!

i also am feeling like i need to write a new song. over the summer, i somehow conquered a lot of my stage fright and have been singing and playing guitar for people. kinda crazy, but i feel like my 2 songs are getting old. it's time for new ones! too bad my room's so messy i can't find my guitar tuner... darn.

did i mention i have a quiz on friday that i haven't read for yet? and i need to study itlian and french. dangit. buona sera!
