wake me up when september ends...

so september has been nothing but a crazy month. between classes... student orgs... and this project i'm working on in my presidential scholars class... phew. i'm surprised i'm still breathing.

but anyways... as far as what's been going on... i've decided to take on a little project for my interfraternity council position. back in the day (like... the 90s), they used to have this greek newsletter that they used to send out to the parents to let them know what was going on and also to welcome them into the greek community as parents. i thought this was a great idea, so i've decided i'm going to bring it back. i haven't really started yet, it's just in the idea stage... and i'm trying to get a hold of these old newsletters they used to have for a model...

oh, i also went to my first student leader luncheon with dr. hogan, the new vp of educational and student services. he's a really good guy and organized these luncheons to give student leaders and opportunity to network and bring up concerns to the university. it went really well, and i'm looking forward to more in the future!

also... we had an all greek bbq the other night that both ben allen and dr. hogan showed up too! it was pretty awesome to eat dinner with the prez & vp along with the lovely pat! here's a pic...

oh yeah... this project i'm working on in my prez scholar class. it's pretty much just an open ended project that we have to come up with, and my group has decided to help single mothers. however, we haven't quite decided on how we're going to do that yet... so i've been making phone calls & doing research trying to find out what needs to be done, etc. it's definitely keeping me busy!

italian & french are going well. i have the same prof for both and she's amazing. i got an 84 on my last intro to american politics test, which i was happy about. but of course... i'm always worrying about grades... EEK!

well i've got a busy couple of weeks coming up... homecoming and such... lata!
