Mindless Ramblings of That One Guy

anyways, school's crazy busy, as always. i'm finally catching a breather. i actually haven't even worked since the start of second semester, which is going quite well. i'm taking a lot of liberal arts core classes... at least... more than usual. intro to sociology (which i've been excited about taking since i got here), human origins (anthropology as a science lac is so much better than biology! eek!), and intro to statistics (getting the math done...). on top of that, i'm taking advanced french conversation with flavia again... so much fun. and honors women, men, & society... for my minor.

in other interesting news, since the beginning of the year, i have been to memphis & indianapolis for conferences... not to mention i was in colorado for part of my winter break. and in a few weeks i'll be going to chicago for another conference. yikes, life is busy. i have no money, which is a bummer, but oh well. and i have like... two applications due for stuff within 2 weeks as well.

one of those applications is for national student exchange, which i somehow decided i wanted to do haha. the program lets you pay uni tuition and go to another college somewhere within the states for a semester. i'm looking at university of washington, but i might end up somewhere down south too... so this fall semester, i may not be here at uni! it's kind of crazy to think that i might actually live somewhere besides cedar falls, but since my parents moved out to colorado, it really confirms my belief that i'm pretty nomadic and that i hate being tied down to a place.

anyways, my car has nearly bit the dust... and caused me quite a few problems since the beginning of the year. and it's about time i get that taken care of on this saturday with nothing to do! lata!
