I had my thankx giving meal at my host parents Carol’s sisters place somewhere close to Cedar Rapids. It’s a house in the country and yeah it is a beautiful place to be at. I luv going to Bev and Mike’s house, I was there for Christmas and I loved it. Well I started my Thankx Giving day at 8:00 am because I was going to take a special Indian dish for the Thankx Giving meal. It's called meatball curry, Carol and I prepared it in the morning and we were done with cooking at last. It rather takes a long time to prepare for Thankx Giving, a whole 2 days. Yeah that’s the start for some good food. All I did from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm was eat and eat and eat. I guess that’s all we do, yeah I like that though. I met a lot of new people and had so much of fun.
The next day was a big day for me, “Sundeep was on Channel 7 News, 3 times..lol”. Yeah I went out on the crazy Friday shopping trip at 5:00 am with Carol. I went to buy 3 digital cameras for my friend who went home with his friend for Thankx Giving. He told me that he would not be able to go and so I had to do it. I was there at around 5:45 in front of Target just like every other crazy person waiting for the doors to open at 6:00. As soon as the doors opened I sneaked my way through the crowd and got the cameras and then came the surprise the TV crew, who happened to be my friend’s brother and sister-in-law. As I was speaking to them and telling them what I bought Randy came up with the idea that I should be on TV. At first I was very nervous but then the natural talent just came out. Well that day every one whom I knew asked me how my shopping trip was and even my professor in one of classes asked about it. Well what a surprise, I really didn’t know so many people watched their local news.
