Chicago-Paris-Bangalore

I don't think flying for 23 hours is fun. Your sleep schedule gets so messed up with all this traveling. When I got to Paris on the 17th of December it was great, it was chilly winter evening but I didn't care for the cold because I was in one of the greatest cities of the world.

Since my hotel was close to the Airport I had to take a half hour train ride to the center of Paris and I was with a friend whom I met on the flight from Chicago to Paris and she was from the same city in India I was from. So we set to see the streets of Paris and it's amazing lifestyle. We reached the "Champs Elysees" stop and yeah once we got out of the subway we had our first view of Paris. It took us a while to realize that we were in Paris. We walked about the champs ellesse and I helped her shop for her family and friends. As we were walking we came across many shops and places which we both liked and my friend was going crazy shopping. We reached the end of Champs Elysees and we got to "The Arc", it was one different kind of an experience. From the Arc we walked to the Eiffel tower. It was quite a distance from the arc and we were so tired. Once we reached the arc only then we felt that we were in Paris, the Eiffel tower is so beautiful and the lights going up and down. My flight from Paris took off at the right time and I was on my way back home.

The big surprise was that I didn't tell my parents I was coming home on the 18th instead they thought I was coming the week after. So when I got back home at 3:00 in the morning they were very surprised but at first shocked that I was there. Before I went home, me and my friends went to my favorite Indian restaurant in Bangalore. The first thing I told myself when I reached the Bangalore Airport was why did I go back home, everything was so disorganized. India by itself is awesome and I cannot say that my country is bad but since it is a developing nation it's in its development stage. I visited so many of my relatives, cousins and friends. My mom stuffed me with food for at least 5 to 5 times a day…lol. That's all I got to say for now, there is just too many things to say that I cannot write about…
