Sunny Side of CampusMarch 26, 2007Spring Break….Destination:MiamiSpring break 2007 is one break that I will never forget. My buddies and I drove to Miami, Orlando, West Palm and Key West. We started our trip by first stopping at Orlando at my cousin’s place. As we drove south to Florida the temperature kept increasing and we enjoyed every bit of sunshine we could get. We traveled through Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia but the best drive I liked was through Tennessee. The roads in Tennessee are awesome and the whole drive was very scenic. We left Iowa on Friday at 8:00 pm and we reached Orlando at 6:00 pm Saturday
Miami...
On Monday we started our trip to Miami from Orlando, we were all very excited, as our hotel was a beachfront property. The hotel was in North Miami Beach and it was a private, so any thing goes which helped, as there was no body to disturb us from having fun. The first thing we did was jump into the ocean and I haven’t being to a beach for a really long time.

"Southern Most tip..." I will definitely be going back to South beach again……..Well the long drive back was not the most entertaining of all. We had car problems in Georgia, as we were driving on the interstate your car broke down and we had to call Hertz and all the drama. But we got on the road again within the next 3 hours and I was amazed the way Hertz worked with us. Finally we were back to Iowa and I was not expecting the weather to be as it was, cold as usual. But I definitely missed IOWA…lol.
