Sunny Side of Campus

So that was approximately 23 hrs of crazy driving, the next day we set out to Universal Studios and I should say the I was very impressed by the way the whole theme park was organized. We went to Shrek, The Mummy, Twister and many more rides, the one I liked the most was the Shrek ride. After all the rides we ended up for dinner at Bubba Shrimp and it was an awesome place to be at with friends and family. We celebrated my friends 21st birthday at the restaurant and they have a very unique tradition of celebrating their birthdays. They made my friend Rak stand up on a chair and everyone started to sing for his birthday, he felt so embarrassed but we were having fun for sure.

At My cousins place Orlando...

On Monday we started our trip to Miami from Orlando, we were all very excited, as our hotel was a beachfront property. The hotel was in North Miami Beach and it was a private, so any thing goes which helped, as there was no body to disturb us from having fun. The first thing we did was jump into the ocean and I haven’t being to a beach for a really long time.

After that all we did was lie down on the beach and relax as the cool ocean breeze blew across. In the evening we went to the social part of Miami, South Beach where we saw a lot of spring breakers.

I will definitely be going back to South beach again……..Well the long drive back was not the most entertaining of all. We had car problems in Georgia, as we were driving on the interstate your car broke down and we had to call Hertz and all the drama. But we got on the road again within the next 3 hours and I was amazed the way Hertz worked with us. Finally we were back to Iowa and I was not expecting the weather to be as it was, cold as usual. But I definitely missed IOWA…lol.
