Sunny Side of Campus

Coming back to my job at NISG, I m also the recording secretary for their Wednesday night meetings. Yeah I have a lot of jobs to take care of next semester, I love to work at the NISG office as I have experienced transitioning from the old office manager. I would encourage any body on campus to come to one of your 7:00 pm NISG meetings and learn about how student government plays a very important role in day-to-day student life. You will know a lot about how your panther shuttle, Panther bash and other events where a lot of students are benefited as well as have fun at. This made me thinking about how I can be a part of this amazing organization, so I asked the present President Morse how I could help. He then suggested about the Office manager position available at his office and after a submitting an application and an interview with him, the vice-president Bentley and the Director of Administration Bart I was offered this job. I have being working at both offices and I was very excited to learn a lot of new things, which was exciting as well as amazing…lol.

I also attended the memorial service for the Virginia Tech victims. There were brief remarks from President Ben Allen and Student body President Andrew Morse about the event. The Campanile bells rang 32 times honoring and remembering the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings.
