Sunny Side of Campus

I interned at Nationwide as a process improvement/ Quality assurance analyst. I shared my apartment with 2 other friends who worked for Mid American Energy. The three of us had all kinds of fun: from going to the Iowa State fair to visiting the comedy club every Wednesday which later on became a tradition. The comedy club featured different comedians every week and i think that was an awesome mid week activity for us interns. We socialized a lot this summer and met a lot of new people. My team at Nationwide was one of the best i have ever had. My teammates including me were from 3 different schools, 3 different countries and 3 different departments at Nationwide. We all were part of the Nationwide summer intern program which is a very challenging 2 months project. We were also given a task to come up with a innovative idea. By the end of summer we had to present our idea to the executive counsel, when the time came my team presented the project of marketing P & C insurance services to International students. Our innovative idea was selected as the best among 5 others, which is a great achievement for me. Coming back to college after being in the coporate world really makes you appreicate every aspect of your college life.
